Why submit at ETPN2026?

ETPN2026 is designed to give strong scientific and translational work real visibility in front of a European audience spanning researchers, clinicians, innovators, SMEs, industry and ecosystem actors. The event is fully in-person, lean and interaction-driven, which means abstracts are not just displayed: they are meant to trigger discussion, connection and concrete follow-up.

Submitting at ETPN2026 is an opportunity to position your work where science meets clinical needs, industrial reality and European collaboration. Whether your contribution is early-stage, translational, device-oriented or closer to deployment, the programme is built to favour relevance, discussion and high-quality exchanges.

Submission categories

Posters

Poster submission is open to all topics related to nanomedicine and emerging health technologies. It is the broadest and most inclusive format of the event, designed to give visibility to excellent work across disciplines, maturity levels and application areas.

At ETPN2026, posters will not be treated as a secondary format. A dedicated Poster Symposium will take place from Day 1 to maximise early interaction, visibility and discussion. Posters will then remain visible during key networking moments, including lunches and coffee breaks, to ensure sustained exposure throughout the event.

  • Broad scientific and technological scope
  • Dedicated visibility from the first day of the event
  • Strong interaction opportunities with researchers, clinicians, SMEs, industry and project stakeholders
  • Ideal format for discussion, feedback and new connections

Selected oral presentations

Selected oral slots are intended for abstracts with particularly strong fit, quality and relevance for the scientific programme. They are organised around the thematic sessions below and should align clearly with the logic of the event: clinical relevance, translational value, scientific excellence and realistic pathway to impact.

[DEVICES] Nano-enabled Medical Devices, Diagnostics & Clinical Decision Support

This session welcomes contributions on nano-enabled medical devices, diagnostics and patient-oriented technologies that support detection, monitoring, imaging or clinical decision-making. It is intended for projects at the interface of nanomedicine, medtech, diagnostics and healthcare implementation.

[TRANSLATION] Scale-up, Manufacturing, Regulation & Translational Complexity

This session focuses on the real-world complexity of translating health technologies from research to clinical use or market uptake. It welcomes contributions addressing scale-up, manufacturability, quality, regulatory pathways, standardisation, industrialisation, funding constraints and other practical bottlenecks that shape successful translation.

[REGEN] Regenerative Medicine & Advanced Therapeutic Interfaces

This session welcomes contributions in regenerative medicine and advanced therapeutic interfaces, including biomaterials, tissue engineering, cell-material interactions and regenerative nanomedicine. It aims to highlight innovative approaches connecting repair, regeneration and clinical application.

[EMERGING] Emerging Therapies, Precision Nanomedicine & Advanced Drug Delivery

This flagship therapeutic session welcomes cutting-edge contributions in advanced drug delivery, precision nanomedicine and next-generation therapeutic strategies. It is intended for high-quality submissions addressing innovative therapeutic platforms with strong scientific and translational relevance.

[PITCH] Pitch Me Up!

A dynamic and selective format for innovation-driven projects closer to application, venture building or translational deployment. This session is intended for start-ups, spin-offs, SMEs and mature translational concepts seeking visibility, discussion and connection with potential partners, industry or ecosystem actors.

[EU-PROJ] European Projects in Nanomedicine

This session is dedicated to the dissemination of ongoing or completed European collaborative projects in nanomedicine and related health technologies. It welcomes project-level results, tools, platforms, impacts or lessons learned from initiatives supported by European funding frameworks.

Submission guidelines

  • All abstracts must be submitted in English through the official submission Form.
  • Maximum length: 2500 characters, including spaces.
  • Each participant may submit up to 2 talk proposals and 2 poster proposals.
  • Please select the most relevant submission category and session when completing the form.
  • Open abstract submission concerns posters and selected oral presentations within the eligible sessions listed on this page.
  • Submission of an abstract does not guarantee an oral slot; final allocation between oral and poster presentation depends on evaluation and programme fit.
  • Poster presentations will benefit from a dedicated Poster Symposium on Day 1, followed by continued display during networking breaks.
